Guy Muntwyler Studio di Architettura

This commission involved the design and construction of a new volume added to a character residential property in Agno. The brief required generous technical spaces, storage for wood chips to supply a new heating system, an atelier, and garages. The addition was required to attach delicately to a protected 16th-century building. The presence of a strong masonry structure not only reconnects—both functionally and materially—with the dialogue of the historic core, but also integrates the terracing of the garden.
